InviteEra ("InviteEra", "we", "us", or "our") operates inviteera.com and lets hosts create, share, and manage digital invitations for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and other celebrations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from hosts and their guests, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using InviteEra, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Account information. When you sign up as a host, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).

Invitation & event details. Information you add to build your invitation — celebrant names, event dates, venue details, photos, tag lines, and any custom text or images you upload.

Guest & RSVP information. When a guest opens your invitation link and RSVPs, we collect the details they submit — typically name, phone number, email, attendance status, and number of guests attending.

Wishlist & gift data. If you attach a wishlist to your invitation, we store the items, links, and any related notes you add.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of successful payments and order details, but we never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.

Usage & device data. Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referral source, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

• To create, host, and display your invitation at a shareable link.
• To let guests RSVP and to show you their responses on your dashboard.
• To process payments and send order confirmations or receipts.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To send service-related communications (e.g. RSVP notifications, renewal reminders).
• To improve InviteEra's features, performance, and reliability.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.

An invitation link is designed to be shared by the host with their guests. Anyone with the link can view the invitation and submit an RSVP. As the host, you are responsible for sharing the link only with your intended guests and for letting guests know their RSVP details will be visible to you as the event organizer.

Guest RSVP data is visible to the host on their private dashboard and is not shared publicly or sold to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how InviteEra is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

All payments on InviteEra are handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Your card, UPI, and bank details are entered directly on Razorpay's secure platform and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We only retain the order ID, amount, and payment status needed to confirm your purchase.

• Embedded venue maps are powered by Google Maps.
• External wishlist links may point to third-party retailers or gifting platforms.
• Analytics tools help us understand aggregate usage patterns.

We retain your account and invitation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Guest RSVP data is retained alongside the invitation it belongs to. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see "Contact Us" below.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Access, update, or correct your account and invitation information at any time from your dashboard.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.

InviteEra is intended for use by adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Invitations for children's birthday parties are created and managed by an adult host on the child's behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of InviteEra after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
